Getting Close to Halloween

YAY!!!  It's getting close to Halloween!  If you've followed my blog for while you already know how much I dislike Halloween..........however.........Halloween means candy corn and yes, I DO LOVE candy corn.  I'm know it's not good for you but yes, I already bought some for the year  - and yes, I already ate it too!   Yum!  There's no candy corn on my clean and simple cards but they'll still be ok for Halloween.  On both cards I used the same simple design and Penny Black images.

Thanks for stopping by.........and keep smiling.

Lynn

I'm not a fan of Halloween either but your cards are so adorable and cute! I like the CAS design and those adorable critters!

I could have written the part in your post about the candy corn. It's my favorite too and I feel guilty every year but still buy and eat it. These CAS cards are cute as can be. I love the mice on the pumpkin and that striped paper.

Two adorable Halloween cards, Lynn! Love that Jack-o-lantern balloon! Candy corn is the best part of Halloween!

Like you I am not a fan of halloween, and generally don't visit blogs with overtly halloween cards, but reading you opening comment I decided to make an exception - these are two gorgeous cards Lynn.

Both cards are incredibly cute with those little critters! I'm glad you indulged in the candy corn because it's only available once a year! You can't deny yourself those things you love all the time, right? Cute CAS makes, and I just love those little mice on the pumpkin!

I love these cards...so dang cute! I love candy corn, too. Instead, this year, I bought the autumn mix. It has the candy corn in it along with pumpkins and a couple other shaped. My husband and grandkids were with me when I was shopping. I gave each kiddo and bag of the candy and told them to put the in the cart while grandpa isn't looking. Of course, he knew what we were doing, but didn't let on. He let them think they got away with something.

These are so adorable and a clever way to use some papers with the strip at the bottom! I think the candy is always the best thing about Halloween!

Halloween is a fun time of the year for kids, even though it gives them the wrong impression, but I agree with the dislike of the holiday. The CAS cards are really cute. Being pre-diabetic the candy is a no-no.

How fun are these cards- all in fun and sweet images too. I do eat candy corn, mix it with salted peanuts. Tastes like a Payday : )

Ha! I love candy corn too, but only in the fall for Halloween/Thanksgiving for some odd reason. The other flavors/colors just don't taste the same to me. Could be all in my head though. lol I've eaten some candy corn too and haven't bought anymore for the simple fact that I will eat it up. lol Here you go again with these fabulous pattern papers! I love these two Halloween cards, they are too cute with the images you have used. I did not know you disliked Halloween! It's always been my favorite, but not the scary Halloween, the cute Halloween. Hugs, Brenda

Cute card. I don't care for Halloween much anymore either. It's difficult time for me because I am not allowed to eat candy any more. (And I used to so crave candy.

If I had my way, I'd be hiding out in my back bedroom with all the lights out. Unfortunately I will be at my parents tonight and they ALWAYS do Halloween. Your cards are delightful, Lynn! So, so cute!!
