Fist of all, thanks to everyone for hanging in there with me. I'm feeling somewhat better. In other words - the back, butt, leg - whatever, are still there and healing. I start physical therapy in the next couple of weeks and hopefully it'll just keep on improving.
It's taken me a while to get back over here - and it's going to get even longer I'm afraid. My internet went nutty over a couple of weeks ago and that automatically sets a person in a tailspin. I was able to at least see emails over my oldddddddd phone but that was about it. I won't be here much at all though and wanted to let everyone know.
If things can't get better sometime, of course they only going to get worse. The internet issue ended up being one of those very minor things in life. I won't even begin to go into any of the details at all, but did want to let everyone know that Jim and I (and Rambo) are headed to different digs (moving). Not far at all - just a different location here in the area. Sounds like no big deal, right..........What a joke!!! We've been here for years and just going through all the crap (yes, I said that) is mind boggling. I'm trying to do one room at a time but it's very slow going of course. I'll eventually get it done ( but may be 100 years old when it's actually finished). I haven't even started the crafting area. Scared to!
Anyway, all is well, and like I said, I'll be back at some point in time. Missing everyone............and all your wonderful projects.
Thanks for stopping by.............

A Little Late
Believe it or not, I'm back - at least for today. Yes, I'm still alive, but no, not kicking even a little tiny bit I'm afraid. During the last couple of years taking care of Jim, everyone kept telling me to be sure and take care of myself too, but being the crazy old fool that I can sometimes be, I failed to listen. Live and learn the hard way I guess and now I'm paying the price. After being in the horse-pital for almost a week you have a tendency to lose your humor really fast but it's starting to come back in spurts - at least a little bit. Going to take a while for me to get mobile again but I'm working on it. Jim's walker, recliner and I are now BEST buds and none of us are liking this at all - but such is life right now.
This is one of the cards I made before I cratered and since Halloween is already come and gone I figured I'd post it and then see about getting it mailed - or save for next year! The stamp is from Art Impressions.
I'll be back when I can and will also be back to commenting when I can. Just a little slow going right now but will try and get back soon.
Thanks for stopping by..........and also thanks for a all the sweet cards and well wishes.

Lovin' Those Dogs
I'm still lovin' those crazy dogs from Tim Holtz so thought I'd pass another one along to you. Think I may have one (or two) more cards made with these guys and I'm sure you'll be seeing them soon. I believe the sentiment for this one came from CAS-ual Friday stamps.
In case you already haven't noticed there's a couple of little changes going on here - and with me too I guess. I'm going to be taking more "Lynn time" even if it means sitting here doing nothing other than watching the grass grow. I'm going to be posting again - but not all the time. Same will be with the commenting. I'll be here when I can though because I miss everyone and miss seeing your wonderful creations. Thanks for your understanding.

Not Fall
Everyone else seems to be making Fall, Halloween, or even Christmas cards.......and then here comes Lynn with a Super Girl! We don't have Fall weather anyway - maybe soon. Anyway, this is nothing fancy at all, no cool looking techniques, but will still be a good birthday card for some little girl.
I found this cute gal in a set of stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps called Superhereos. You may notice some weird, really weird color in her hair. No one likes to color hair anyway (or at least not me) but I saw a video the other day where they'd added a light purple to the hair color and it was so pretty. Of course this lady was an artist - and hers looked great.......mine looks more like she's got smudges of purple in her hair! Such as it is though since that may be the style right now.
Anyway........I love the cute images in this set. There's also a couple of little boys in the set too and they remind me of Superman. Have you ever wondered how Superman could go into a phone booth to change clothes, yet no one ever saw him naked - and then having to pull on those tights!!!! Can you really see a guy trying to put on tights! Yikes! Just something to think about this weekend.
Going to surprise everyone and actually enter this in a couple of challenges too! Shock, I know! The challenge at Pretty Cute Stamps is polka dots so I'll take this over there. Also, I couldn't just come back without also entering the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).
Thanks for stopping by........I'll be around again when I am.......

The Plan
This past year has been a pretty bumpy road around here and I think it's finally starting to take it's toll on me - both physically and mentally. So, my plan right now is to back off for a while and reassess the entire situation - blogging is one of the things included in the situation - among other things as well.
Seems that the further I go the behind-er I get with everything! I'm going to take a little time off and see what happens. Who knows.......I may come back like a freight train - or it may be like a slow moving boat to wherever (like it's been for the last couple of months). Only time will tell I suppose.
Please don't give up on me just yet though and thanks for stopping by.................

Sun Lovin' Snoop Dog
If there's one thing we have in Texas, it's SUN. You may not see a sun on this card, but you'll know it's there because of the sun shades. Yep, even little Rambo would like a pair of Ray Bans this summer. Typical Texas weather right now - hot!
I used one of the TH dogs and they're a fun bunch so you'll be seeing more in the future I"m sure.

A Couple of Potted Plants
I've been watching the Art Impressions Watercolor series and thought that maybe, just maybe, I could do that. Maybe! These are my first tries - well, the first ones you'll see anyway. The others sorta found their way to the trash can. I'm still working on it but thought these at least came out decent. Of course after seeing the videos last week I notice all sorts of things I should have done and didn't. Guess that's just part of the learning process. I used the same stamps on both and Marvy and SU markers to do the watercoloring.
This second card sorta got blobbed up with the watercolors right smack dab in the center of all the foliage (of course!) so I added the gold embossed sentiment on vellum over that.

Fun Times and Albert
Now, buying a new computer is sorta like buying a bathing suit......you don't want to even think about it. Ok, I found this cutie of a guy and told him I needed a new one. No problem, lady......what were you using before? Duh, a computer! Ok, Windows 10 or what?........yikes! No, I was still trudging along with Vista. Um.......well, in that case maybe it'd be better if you got Windows 7 now. (I really think he just saw the gray hair and made that quick decision)! Fine - good deal.......let's do it.
Computer was delivered and set up. The guy that set it up though probably knew less than me. He couldn't even figure out how to connect the camera! This is NOT good! He left and I didn't even know how to turn it off since it's a laptop instead of a desktop. Finally figured all that out and then luckily my son showed up that weekend and got me all set. I'm ready to rock and roll on this baby now. I named him Albert which is good name for a computer - and much, much, MUCH nicer than all the other unprintable names he's been called recently.
I'm able to email and all that good stuff now. So excited! Finally figured out how to add a photo and then ran into the exposure adjustment and watermark problem. This is where friends come in and pick you up off your feet! Tammy, Mary, and Brenda - Bless your heart! They've been so patient and understanding with me and it's appreciated so much.
You won't be seeing me every day and maybe not even every other day since I'm still trying to figure out if Albert and I are going to be compatible or not. Right now it's a little iffy!
Thanks for stopping by..........and have a fun day!

Crash, Boom, Bang
Yep, that's what happened to the old computer this weekend. It was laid to rest on Saturday. It wasn't a pretty death either. I'm still in mourning - and trying to see if any of the stores have a 100 percent off coupon for a new one. It's going to be a while before you see me again I'm afraid. Just hope I can figure out how to operate a new one. Surely I'm not too old to learn something new.....hopefully!
I'll be back as soon as I can.

A Bow and Arrow for Father's Day
Father's Day will be this weekend so I figured I'd better get a card made for Jim. He hasn't been deer hunting in a long, long time but think he will still enjoy looking at this beauty from Newton's Nook.
I stamped the image in brown Versafine ink and then heat embossed in clear on a piece of textured vanilla card stock. Used a die from MFT to frame him with and then mounted that on some very old (but pretty) CTMH patterned paper. Added the twine and the then the arrow embellishment under the bow. Very clean and simple.
Thanks for stopping by......and Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.

I Know Not What I Do
The title of this pretty well sums up my whole life sometimes - but in this case, I'm talking about my card. I made this several weeks ago (and yes, I know it's been a while since you've seen me) and really don't remember everything I did on this.
After seeing a card on Mary's blog (Carolina Cards by Mary) and a link she had, I figured I'd attempt to emboss a stencil. So....... embossed a Memory Box stencil and then covered it with distress inks. The centers of the flowers started out as yellow, but duh.....if you mix yellow and blue you get more of a green color. After that I used Perfect Pearls all over the card and then added the die cut "happy" in gold and stamped the "birthday" part. I must have taken 20 pictures of this card and just couldn't get it to look right. Don't know if it's from the shine of the Perfect Pearls or what. And speaking of pearls......yep, I added a couple of those too.
Everything is fine in our neck of the woods even though I haven't been blogging lately. Lots of flooding in Texas recently but luckily we escaped it here at the house. I lost the internet connection for several days which is not fun at all! Other than that, it's been one doctor appointment after the next for Jim. Got to see a cutie pie of one earlier this week and I really, really, REALLY wanted to bring him home with me - but sadly Jim said he was tired of doctors and didn't want to have to live with one too! Also had the flooring changed in the laundry/craft room (don't laugh! It's not so bad when I can work on a card and then swivel the chair around and toss clothes in the washer and dryer)! That was a nightmare hauling all the crapola out of there. When it came time to put it back in I considered going through all my craft stuff first and tossing things - and then my brain clicked in and just shoved it all back where it came from. Good idea, Lynn!
Anyway......thanks so much for stopping by and I'll try to post a little more when I can. I appreciate you hanging in there with me.

Howdy
A pretty quick post today - that means you won't have to listen to all my bull for a change........I used a couple of stamps from Art Impression, did a little embossing for the background, added a piece of patterned paper, and last but not least, a Gina Marie Howdy/Barbwire die that was a gift to me by a very sweet blogging friend for my birthday. The images are colored in Copics with some distress inks over the embossed background.
Yee-Haw, Howdy, and I'll be back soon...............
I'll enter this in the challenge at Art Impressions (Humorous) and also take this cute pair over all the way over across the water to Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Birthday Card for a Friend
You don't usually see a card from me unless it has some type of critter on it or is a little humorous. Fooled you today though! I can't seem to make those gorgeous cards you see with all the flowers, etc. on them, but hey, it doesn't stop me from trying - and yes, this really is a flower!
So, for Brenda's (Friends Craftin' With Friends) birthday yesterday I made this card. Such a sweet lady that I've enjoyed getting to know through blogland. The flower and sentiment are from Friendship Blooms and Spring Flowers (Simon Says Stamp). The framework is a die from Pretty Pink Posh. Hope Brenda had a wonderful birthday!
I'll enter this in the challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More (clean and simple).
Thanks for stopping by...........and have a great weekend.

This Little Piggy.........Got Sunburned
Yep, this little piggy stayed out in the sun too long and got a little over-cooked! Isn't he just the cutest though! He can be found over at From the Heart for their progressive challenge this month. I wasn't able to play along last month and get him for free so just popped over to their store and got him so I could play this month. He makes me happy!
I was trying different Copics to color him and got a little carried away I think. He's framed out - twice - with a die from Pretty Pink Posh and mounted on Kraft card stock. The sentiment is on the inside.

Smiling Plants
I'm not real sure my plants are smiling today since I really need to water them, but pretty much all plants smile and especially when they're blooming - and have a little water!
I used a cute set of stamps from Newton's Nook (Garden Whimsy) along with a piece of burlap, tag, grass, and cloud dies, Recollections paper, sequins, ribbon, twine, and a wooden embellishment thing-a-ma-jig. This is colored with Copics. Of course, being very typical of me, I forgot to color in some sky on the tag - until after the entire card was put together. Went back in with some light blue Pan Pastels and added some barely noticeable blue for the sky.
I haven't entered the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook in a while and finally found some time to play along with their sketch challenge.

A Birthday Tweet
Just trying to catch up a little bit on making some birthday cards. I used some stamps from My Favorite Things (Birds of Paradise) and a Lil Inker sun die. The background was done with Distress Ink and image colored in Copics. Not much else to say about this but hope it makes someone smile a little.
Since I used a couple of little snippets on this card, I'll take it over to Pixie's Crafty Workshop. I'll also enter it in the sketch challenge at Case This Sketch.
Thanks for dropping by........and have a wonderful day.

Better Blue Than Bald
From about the time my kids were able to talk they've always called me "that old blue hair" and if you notice, this little guy on my card has a blue tint! Scary!. I'm not so sure if my hair is gray, blue, or white now. Guess that comes with being "elderly" as my son told me this year on my birthday. Where do these kids come from anyway! Surely they couldn't belong to me. Anyway, I actually had it 'colored' at the beauty shop for several years but then stopped because it just wasn't me. So now what you see is what you get. As far as being "elderly"......um......I told my son he was going to be there someday too - and yet he's going to be bald. Better blue than bald - right!!
Yep, I made another card using one of those cute stamps from Taylored Expressions. I attempted to 'ground' him using a brown Copic and that turned into a wreck, so added some 'grass'. You gotta have a little dirt in order to grow grass anyway. Oh, and yes.....he's colored with a gray (not blue) Copic!
Thanks for stopping by.......have a nice weekend........and remember to SMILE!

Yay!
It's been a while........but I'm here once again with a super simple git 'er done card. The image is from Sassy Sheryl and sentiment from Cas-Ual Friday.
I haven't been around at all lately due to a chock-full social life (doctor's appointments). I haven't even been in the craft room in a couple of weeks. I didn't want anyone to think I'd just dropped off the face of the earth though so thought I'd post this card I'd done several weeks ago. Thanks for hanging in there with me and I'll be back to my old (young - HA!) self this week - hopefully!

From Trash to Whatever
Ok, this is a little different than my normal card. Of course I love the blue, but as far as the rest of it I'm undecided. It's one of those cards you look at once and shout WOW and then look at it again and go UCK!
This started out by stamping the flower and deciding to watercolor it. After a royal mess of that I tossed it in the trash. Done deal and no more worries. I was complaining to my best friend about it and she said to dig it out of the trash and smear some distress ink all over it - which I did. It pretty well washed out the flower and leaf color I'd watercolored so I added some Copics to that, added the sentiment and sequins, and walla....a birthday card to add to the pile!
I'm going to have a very busy week so thought I'd schedule a couple of cards in advance. I'll be by to visit when I can but know it probably won't be every day. Hope everyone has a great week.

Grumpy Birthday
I thought it was probably high time for maybe not a Funny Friday - but at least a Fun Friday! It's been a while since I've done one of those. In fact, it's been a while since I did anything!
After seeing Marilyn over at One Stamping Fool and several other wonderful artists make such cute cards with this stamp set from Taylored Expressions, I knew I had to have it! The design is from a sketch I saw not long ago and thought it would be perfect to showcase the grumpy, but fun, cat.
Good Golly! I just realized this card would slide right into the challenge over at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets). It's a fun challenge and one I haven't played in lately. Hate to take such a grump over there but still a fun challenge. Maybe it'll even put a smile on his face being with such a happy group of ladies.
Thanks for stopping by........and have a great weekend.

Flowers and A Pothole
We've had a few flowers and a big pothole around here lately.
These are larkspur in our front yard. Really pretty flowers - and so many. I cropped the picture pretty good since I doubt if you'd really want to see all the thistles that are growing in with them too. I guess I could wade in there and pull the thistles out but I'm not really keen on having slithery, creepy, crawly things find their way up my pants legs either.
We've also had a little bit of a rocky road lately - actually a big pothole - but we're slowly climbing out of it once again. Hopefully all will be better soon. One day at a time.......
I'll be by blogs as soon as I can so hang in there with me.

Easter Trio
It's almost Easter and the bunnies are hopping all over the place. Instead of doing three separate posts for my Easter cards, I decided to do them all at once and be done with it. Lazy? Not really - just easier. Um......
This first card is done with stamps from Memory Box. Cute little bunnies, a bit of grass, some sky, and sequins finished this up. I almost thought that one sequin was an egg hiding in the grass.
Sometimes my mind works in mysterious ways - but for some reason I thought this would look really good on gray cardstock. I'm having a few seconds thoughts on that now. Anyway, the original card didn't have the little bunny on it, but then I figured, why not. I'm still practicing on watercoloring and this was the results on one of my attempts. The image is from Close to My Heart and the sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers.
The last of the litter for my post..... This is a stamp from Stampin' Up that a blogging friend was able to get for me. It was love at first sight on this stamp and this is maybe the second time I've used it. What can I say? Another attempt at watercoloring and a very clean and simple design.
Thanks for stopping by........and have a wonderful weekend.

Barbed Wire and Bluebonnets
A very dear friend of mine sent me this stamp from Texana Designs last month and as a thank you, I worked up a card for her. She's actually the one that got me started on this hobby/addiction several years ago.
Barbed wire and bluebonnets are abundant in Texas and especially right now. The bluebonnet (a wildflower) is the state flower and they've started covering the fields and sides of the highways all over Texas. It's so beautiful to be driving down the road and see millions of these gorgeous flowers everywhere. It's like a sea of blue. Of course we have barbed wire all the time here since so much of the land is still fenced off with that.
The sentiment is from Kitchen Sink Stamps and I added a little red and white gingham patterned paper and twine.

Scooting By
Scooting by with a fun card to take everyone into the weekend.
I finally decided this week that I'm so far behind the times it's pathetic. What can I say - I'm old! There's not a single technique used on this other than maybe using Copics, so it's just a card.
When I first started making cards it was all about layers. The more you could pile on, the better. Then dies appeared everywhere - still a rage. Next came clean and simple, stencils, and then the watercolor bang hit! Whoa! I wonder what's next. I did use a die on this for the sun and grass, but other than that, it's just a card. That's it.....bottom line......just a card.
Every time I looked at this AI stamp I'd smile because it appeared the cat was startled by something behind it (or maybe it's mama's driving). I decided to put a little doxie (from There She Goes) behind the scooter because I can just see that kitty hoping the dog doesn't get too close. With mama driving though I doubt that will happen.
Anyway, a fun card to take you into the weekend.

Peek-A-Boo Squared
I know y'all are probably getting tired of seeing this Peek-A-Boo die from MFT, but it was still sitting on my craft table so I used it once again. (I AM putting it up for a little while now though - maybe!) I used it a little different on this card mainly because I didn't want to have to cut into that green polka dot paper - and mess it up like I'm inclined to do. I figured I'd probably cut it crooked and it was my last scrap. So, I cut the frame and then squared it out. I'm still undecided if I like it that way though.
Anyway, moving right along......I used a brand new set of stamps from Memory Box (Springtime Bunnies) and a new scalloped frame die from Pretty Pink Posh. Let's see......I colored the image with Copics, did some sponging, added a LF grass die and a tiny pink heart, and then slapped on some glossy accents and Wink of Stella. That pretty much sums it up.
I'll enter this in the challenges at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (Snippets) and will also throw my name in the mix over at Darnell's NBUS challenge. Two fun challenges.

A Lot of Bull
No, I won't give you any of my 'bull' today - but will show you the card I made this past weekend. You really don't want to hear my 'bull' anyway I'm sure. I guess Jim didn't either since he buried himself in golf and basketball on TV this weekend and gave me a chance to craft a little.
I haven't made a masculine card in so long and really don't mind making them at all. I used one of the stamps from Mark's Finest Papers (Bold and Free)......a little patterned paper, sponging with Distress Inks, twine, and a few wooden stars - and the card was completed. The image was colored with Copics.
I'll enter this in the challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends (Brown) and the Mod Squad Challenge (Animal).

A Couple of Quickies
Since I already had that Peek a Boo die from MFT sitting on my desk, I made a couple of git 'er done cards. This first one is using a flower die from Memory Box. I wanted to keep it fairly flat for mailing so I just punched a black dot out of card stock for the center. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.
On both of these I fluffed out the flowers - but then decided to sort of smash them down again. I mean, if it's going through the mail, they're going to be smashed flat anyway so why bother with all the fluff and stuff. Right!
I'm going to enter the second card in a couple of challenges! YEA! The first challenge will be over at Pixie's Crafty Workshop. What a doll Di is - and she actually had a tiny poinsettia die like this as a prize there a while back. I wasn't lucky enough to win it, but it did go on my list of " have to have's". Glad I got it now. I'm also entering this over at the Rudolph Day Challenge. Maureen is also a sweetie and I love playing along with her challenge but usually it slips by me before I can get something created for it. Not this time though!
Thanks for stopping by.........and have a wonderful weekend!

Back in the Saddle and Some Changes
This card recently went to a very sweet blogging buddy, Nana Connie, who's had a small set-back recently. I know it's slowed her down a bit for now but also know she'll be as good as new soon. That blue you see in the background on here is actually purple (her favorite color) and if I'm not mistaken Connie has the same problems photographing purple and having it come out blue - so guess we're just two of a kind on that one.
The images and sentiment are from My Favorite Things and then I added a fun sun and tiny cloud - and that cute MFT Peek-A-Boo Window die.
Changes............. I finally realized I've been killing myself trying to keep up with commenting, making cards, and everything else that has to be done around here - and I can't continue that if I want to keep what little sanity I have left. I just can't do it anymore and it is what it is. Sooooo, as you've already noticed, I won't be around every day like I've been in the past to see your wonderful cards. I will pop in when I can though. Everything is ok but it's just a busy and stressful time in my life right now.
Thanks for stopping by.........and I appreciate each and every one of you so much. Remember to SMILE!

No Laughing Allowed!
No laughing allowed at this card! I see all those beautiful cards with watercoloring and decided that even though I'm not good at that, I have to at least attempt it every so often.
Ok, I gathered up all my supplies.......Watercolors - I've been using a little tin of grade school type watercolors and everyone kept saying to get the "good" kind and I'd be able to tell the difference. So, I'm scooting through WallyWorld the other day I noticed they had some watercolors in little tube type deals by Daler Rowney. Since they were about $3.00 dollars more than the grade school kind, I figured those had to be better! (Last of the big spenders here you know). Ok, watercolors - check! Watercolor paper, embossing folder, card stock, Distress Markers, Stampendous stamp, and SSS sentiment - check! Little glass of water, paper towel, and even my dollar store palette! No problems......
I'm ready to set the world on fire........Started with the background. Holy Moly! This is not fun....just messy and HARD! Too much water - pill bugs start to appear. Not enough water - it just sits there! Finally managed to salvage this little piece that was passable (pill bugs and all). Stamped the butterfly and used the Distress Markers for watercoloring that. I'm pretty sure this is the forth or fifth one I attempted. Rest got tossed pretty fast. Cut this one out, stamped it again on the watercolor background, and then popped this up on top of it. Maybe I'll even try this again someday.......maybe - and yes, I'm sure it would have pill bugs too!!
Thanks for stopping by.........and have a fun weekend.

Is It Snowing?
It's a little hard for me to relate to this snowman since we're expecting temps in the low 80's for the next couple of days - but......I know some of y'all are having snow, so hope you're staying warm!
This is the free image for playing along at From the Heart stamps progressive challenge. If you didn't play last month and receive the free image you can still find it in the shop there and play along this month. Fun, and cute image!

Love You Mouse
Just spreading a little love today!
I've had this little House Mouse stamp (Contented Mudpie) forever and never could come up with a good way to use it. Mainly, I'd just sit and admire it - tooooo cute! I love the expression on his (her) face. As I was doing my Valentine's this year I decided to use it and it seemed to work out perfect for a way to tell one of the grandkiddos that I love them.
I'll enter this in the challenge at House Mouse and Friends (Love is all Around) and Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Green Sneakers
I realize it's super duper clean and simple, however, I can just see Rambo and I hollering at Jim to say Happy Valentine's Day. Not that he'd hear us anyway though. This will be for Jim for Valentine's this year. I've never given him a romantic card at all and don't think he'd expect it this year either. Gotta keep him smiling.
The stamp is from Art Impressions and is actually one of their 'front and back' stamps. Using just the 'front' of the stamp, I left off her right hand. (She's got it on the other side of the little doxie holding him up I suppose). I'd never carrying Rambo this way though because doxies already have too many back problems. Anyway, I colored this in Copics and then got down to the shoes......Oh groan! What color do I use. Brown probably would have been the color most normal people would use but thought I'd give her a little class and color them green. I mean, wouldn't everyone LOVE some green sneakers - or do you already have some?!
I used two tiny snippets (the pink heart and the strip of patterned paper down the side on this so think it may qualify for the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop. It's a great challenge and I really wanted to enter a couple of cards this week, but it just didn't happen. Hopefully I can next week though.
Thanks for stopping by..........and have a great weekend.

Sweets for the Sweet
Everyone is rushing around making Valentine cards right now, and I'm just trying to get some birthday cards done it seems. I already have all the Valentine's I need but have to come up with I think four birthday cards this week. Some may never see the light of day on this blog but I'll get them finished anyway.
Just some fun papers and a stamp set from Lawn Fawn......sequins, twine, glossy accents were added.

Valentine Bandit
The stamps I used for this are from Newton's Nook (Sweetheart Tails). Cute little guy isn't he! The heart die is from Simon Says Stamp. I inlaid all the red hearts (and one white one) after cutting. Twine added and the card is complete.
I'll enter this in the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook (Love Theme), Pixie's Crafty Workshop challenge (snippets), Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (anything goes), Addicted to Stamps and More (Holiday), Addicted to CAS (Red).

HeeYaw and All That Good Stuff
As promised, here's the little dude (Rambo) all decked out for the big round-up. Yep, I promised y'all I'd keep trying to get a picture of him in his cowboy hat and finally managed to do it without him taking his paw and knocking it off. It's not the best photo but getting him to sit still just doesn't happen very often - unless he's asleep. Don't think he likes being a cowboy for some reason.....maybe he just needs a white hat instead of a black one to show he's one of the good guys.
I'm slowly but surely making my way back to blogging! It's been a long couple of weeks but we're back to being into some sort of routine (or whatever) now and hopefully on the road to recovery. Some days are pretty much crazy so if I disappear that's the reason why. What am I saying?????!! ALL days are pretty much crazy around here but some really are better than others.
Thanks so much for stopping by.....

I'm Trying So Hard
I'm really, really trying to get back to crafting, blogging, and commenting - and all the fun things in my life, but it just isn't happening right now. A very brief update is that I've been busy with the ER, hospital, doctors, back to the ER and hospital, now back home, and caring for Jim. Bottom line.....his health is just all screwed up......and yes, it's hell getting older.
It's been an extremely long week - actually it's been two weeks I think. I've completely lost track of time. I'm one tired stressed out little chicken every single day of the week right now. When I do have a few minutes and could get back to crafting, I just want to curl up and sleep a little.
I will get back to blogging and visiting everyone's blog soon but just don't know when right now. Please don't give up on me just yet.

From the Heart Kittens
I finally got a card made! YEA! Nothing exceptional but it's going to be cute for Valentine's Day I think. Lots of hearts for sure.
Playing along with the progressive challenge at From the Heart Stamps I used this cute little kitty image. The image is free if you played along last month, and if you didn't you can still get it in the store and play along for this month. I also used the weekly sketch (my take on it) at From the Heart Stamps and will enter it in that challenge as well.

....and then it was 2016
No card today, but yes, I'm still alive and kicking (just not very high). I won't bore you too long but still wanted to let you know I'll be back soon with a card or two hopefully.
Christmas was great and I got to spend time with the kiddos which was really nice. It wasn't even one of those times when you stand on the front porch as they're driving off and have a big smile on your face thinking " whew! thank goodness"!!! LOL! My daughter came for a week and then my son and his crew arrived...........and then my internet died an ugly death! Ok, no problem. That means I can get some things done around the house. Well, hello.....there's only so much cleaning a person can do. After six days of no internet I was climbing the walls but they got it all repaired yesterday so I'm back among the living once more! Right in the middle of all this Jim decides to have a medical issue. (He's doing a little better now) Not fair at all......We ate our black eyed peas on New Years for good luck and even threw in some pork and sauerkraut for good measure - so where's the luck! I'm still shoving black eyed peas in him but think he may be getting a little tired of them now though.
I'll slowly get back in the swing on things soon. Will try to get around to everyone's blog at some point in time this week too!
