Melting Away

Melting away is exactly what we'll be doing here in Texas in a couple of months.  It's already feeling like summer now so it's really a little scary to think what's going to happen in July and August!

I used a sun die from Lil Inker, a stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things, and a sentiment from Newton's Nook.  A tiny little die cut heart was added to the middle of the sun.

I'll enter this in the challenge at CASology (code word: melt)

Hope this card brightens your day!
Thanks for stopping by...........

We Have the sunshine today but it's still feels too cold to me to be spring. I like your sunshine card. I have a similar sunshine die but never thought to add yellow gingham to the card! Great idea...I feel a case coming on...smile.

There's that gingham paper again and I adore it in yellow! Such a cheerful, uplifting card! We were having summer weather and worried about what summer would bring. Then spring came and brought winter back! Go figure!

The bright yellow is fabulous, Lynn, and I adore the gingham paper! Since we had rain yesterday, and the skies are overcast today, we could do with a little sunshine out here but I also know our summer, like yours, is very apt to be unbearably hot, hot, HOT.

I love how you make such simple cards come alive in the cleanest way possible. So bright and cheerful, Lynn.

Hoping my enthusiasm to make cards comes back. Meditation seems to have over taken me. I conducted a guided relaxation for two dentists and seven nurses and they liked it. Looks like I may give them more sessions. I am also going to conduct a session for my group this Wednesday. I know I should be writing this on an email, so forgive me.

Keep crafting my friend,

Monica
