So Many Animals

I know you're probably getting tired of all cards I post with animals on them.......Such is life!  And guess what - I have two more! Let me know if you start getting too bored with them though.  Doesn't mean I'll quit doing them,  but hey, at least I'll know.

On the first card I used a stamp from Tim Holtz, some Kraft paper, and heart embossing folder.  The sentiment (on both) was from Simon Says Stamp.  Of course I embossed the hearts on the wrong side of the oval but it wouldn't have been normal for me to get it right.

The second card uses a stamp from My Favorite Things (see, I told you you'd be seeing that cat again soon), an old background stamp on the oval, and that's pretty much it.

These two clean and simple cards along with a few more will be going to Sending Paw Prints.  Check out the blog and you'll love what Karen is doing for all the hard working people with rescue organizations.

Thanks for stopping by.............

Lynn

Both are so cute. I really love that cat stamp. I wouldn't have noticed the hearts at all. Looks like they were meant to be that way.

Adorable dog and cat cards, and for such a worthy cause too! I LOVE the reversed embossed hearts - it's a great look and nobody has to know that was a mistake! Love that patient kitty too - he's probably just waiting for that bird to make a move and then whoosh!! LOL Great cards with great sentiments too!

Lynn, two very special and nice cards for a wonderful cause. I'd never get tired of seeing pet cards. I really like the debossed look on the first card. I have done that on purpose so I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I was just thinking of you so it was nice to come on an see you and your two precious cards here. Wishing you a nice evening.

Both cards are just amazing, but ya know I am partial to that darn Doxie card. I just used it again for a get well card. You will see it some day soon. Carol told me I was bad for drawing in my own details. Maybe I am. I like the oval die with a double row of stitching. There are a few dies I have been eyeing, but they are always out of stock. Have a super day, Lynn!

Don't get tired of your dawgs! This one's a cutie over the heart embossing. He reminds me of the tv commercial where you'd see the 2 different sized dogs walking, and one would be so excited about Kibbles & Bits. It's adorable. I'm liking the blue & yellow kitty too! Good to see how versatile this image is going to be for you. TFS & Hugs. Happy wkend too.

I could have sworn I commented on these cards Lynn, but I don't see my comment. I'm losing it! lol I never get tired of your animal cards Lynn and I am loving both of these! That expression on your dog just cracks me up! He is so stinking cute. The embossed double stitched oval is perfect for him to sit on and I love the red twine. Love the sentiment as well. The cat and bird card is so cool looking! I do love the little designs on the kitty and bird and I love the way you have colored them. They both fit on that oval so nicely too! Loving those ovals you have die cut. Another fabulous card and I love the heart with the sentiment!! Hugs, Brenda

I love these cute cards! The puppy really pops on that darker background... funny how we don't do that more but seem to get stuck in a rut with white. The cat is perfect against the blue background and whoever gets either of these is going to be one happy camper.

Both the cards are cute except that I am slightly partial to the first one. The smiling cat does make me smile, though. I like the earthy colours of the first card and the lightness of the second card.

Love,

Monica
