I probably make the least scariest Halloween cards ever but that's just how I roll I guess. If you've followed my blog for a while you may remember that Halloween is not my favorite day. (I DO love the candy corn that happens to appear about this time of the year though). The grands all love Halloween even though I don't so of course they always have to get a card and treat from their Mimi.
This was my take on this weeks
My Favorite Things sketch to enter their challenge. The images, sentiment, paper, and frame die are all from MFT. I added a little tiny black cloud above the frog and then googly eyes for fun. Topped it of with some black Nuvo drops.

OMG Lynn, this is the cutest little card for Halloween! Loving those googlie eyes and especially the dark cloud, too funny! Great card following that sketch - somehow I just never got around to working with that one. Candy corn IS Halloween, I agree! :) Super cute card :)

Looks pretty scary to me with this fearsome black cat (and of course I love the froggie). These critters look just great on that wonderful black stripe border treatment, and the little black cloud, a nifty detail. (and I can identify with the frog under the black cloud on some days too!) That black cloud is so clever and those googly eyes just make me laugh, especially on the cat. I love that nice greeting instead of spooky. I do make some that are spooky because I have older grands and the boys like them. And, I, too, love candy corn. I wish they wouldn't put it in the stores until a few hours before Halloween. Then putting it on sale for 70% off right after is just cruel.
Sure, i agree, this is super cute and least scary. Awe, the frog and cat are simply too sweet for words.
