It's Almost Time

Now don't laugh because like it or not Halloween will be here before you know it.  If I wasn't so lazy I could count out the days and give you that information but instead I'll just say it's only about 6 months away so if you're like me, you'd better start early!

When I was in the process of moving a couple of months ago and didn't want to pack up any boxes, I'd grab this Sassy Cherly image and color a little bit.  My Copics were going in the car with me instead of the moving truck so they were available.  After I got moved,  I started digging around and found all the pieces to go with this - the frame, glitter paper, and all that sort of good stuff.  Don't even ask why I picked a Halloween image because as you know, I don't like Halloween!!!!!!  What can I say.............

Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

Funny story...must be the season. Another friend posted a Halloween card yesterday. I've been working out of season too. All my Christmas cards for next year are done already, unless I make a bunch of new friends! Love your card. She is so cute. I've been posting cards now with images that I colored during my three year break from card making. I wasn't making cards, but that didn't stop me from coloring.

Well, you sure can't tell that you don't like Halloween! She is the cutest witch evva! I have to giggle, cause I feel like we moved together. Can you believe all that digging around to find stuff? Mine is finally on shelves as of 2 days ago. Even on shelves, can I find things? Heck no!

Well I think she is adorable! I actually happen to love Halloween and it's my favorite holiday too! :) So I'm always happy to see one any time of the year! Fabulous coloring and I don't blame you for takin those Copics with you in the car to be safe and to "do" something! HUGS

It's never to early to start cards for the holidays. This is a lot of coloring and you did a fantastic job. Your shading is really gorgeous. That is a cute witch for sure.

Time flies, so it's always best to get started early! Butch brought the mail up yesterday and said "gees, there's another electric bill, didn't we just pay that a week or 2 ago? I checked and it was paid March 18th but both of us must have lost a few weeks in time! LOL Love this cute little witch and her frog prince! The glittered background and frames work so well with her, and I love this card!

I didn't realize you didn't like Halloween Lynn! I love Halloween, but not the scary side of Halloween-just the fun side of it. I simply adore this card! It is fun and oh so cute! I love that image and the way you colored it. I love how you framed this little witch out as well with the scalloped frame, plain frame and then the glitter paper. Sometimes when our life is in turmoil and all packed up, it is good just to sit down and color! Glad you are all unpacked and settled in and can just create! Hugs, Brenda

But how can you not like this delightful witch, Lynn! She looks like she's a good witch and very helpful with her broom at the ready. On second look, her wand might work better! What a delightful Halloween card and it WILL be here before we know it!

It's funny how I've come to like Halloween since I started card making. I used to be pretty neutral about it but there are such cute images for the Halloween holiday that I've gotten hooked. I adore this darling witch! Your coloring is fantastic and the sparkly paper is perfect. Hmmm, if you left off the Halloween sentiment, you could probably pass her off as a professor at Hogworts. lol

Really, Halloween before Easter, Lynn?! Well, why not! You are right about how the time is flying again this year! I think it's super fun that you colored your witch in spring colors!! Hugs, Darnell

You picked this up because it is not Halloweeny at all. I love the bright yet gentle colours on the image. Good planning!

How fun! Halloween in April - works for me! :) What die did you use for the middle frame - the scallop? I've been seeing it a lot but can't find it anywhere :( And I still owe you some new house mail!
