A Fact

Bottom line............It's a fact of life that as we get older we need more sympathy and get well cards.

I always seem to have get well cards for the gals, but none for the guys.  So.......here you go!  I used a stamp set from Art Impressions and just some scraps of paper that were already on my desk.   Colored in Copics and added some twine.  Nothing fancy at all but then most guys don't really care for the fancy stuff --- and besides that.....if you know me then you know I'm just not a very fancy type person at all.

Of course it's nothing to laugh about with a nurse that looks like this standing over you with a huge needle but hopefully it'll put a smile on a guys face anyway.  Laughter really is the best medicine!

I'll enter this in the challenge at Art Impressions....."Let's Hear it for the Boys".

Thanks for stopping by.......and keep smiling

Lynn

Yes! Laughter really is the best medicine! I think I'd be troubled too if this grouchy looking lady had a needle over me! LOL!! Love your card layout design with some pattern paper panel layers! I love it and great card for a smile!

It's perfect for a guy, but even perfect for a girl too! Love those pattern designs and colors, and I agree. If you can't laugh these days you might as well hang it up. Keep smiling - I'm trying :)

Yep, wouldn't want this nurse standing over me with that needle! lol Love this card Lynn, love those papers you had sitting on your desk too. I think I have this stamp set and need to get some get well cards made myself. Isn't it the truth that the older we get the more get well cards we need?! This one is sure to make someone laugh and laughter is the best medicine! Hugs, Brenda

A fantastic and fun card Lynn - I am sure it will be appreciated. I am finding the need for get well cards and sympathy cards seems to increase with (my) age!

Hi, Lynn! I would like to thank you for the sweet comments on my blog, especially on Brian's cards. I know you understand the situation, and your kind words, along with some others, have helped to boost Brian's confidence. He is aware that he has a brain injury and he wasn't sure if he still had his creative side. I was hoping for one card and he surprised me by colouring enough for 5 cards! He was able to make all of the design choices himself, with no input from me, and I think he even surprised himself. His love for Snowie motivated him to do it, I read all the comments to him this morning and some even brought tears to his eyes, and mine as well. It's a different life now. We so appreciate your beautiful and thoughtful comments, as well as your understanding and compassion. You are a lovely friend. I know life hasn't been easy since Jim's passing, and I am so glad you have returned to cardmaking and blogging. Sending you a bug hug!

Great male card. She will keep those guys in line for sure with that look on her face - not to mention the weapon in her hand! I like how you used the pattern paper.
