A Quilt, A Card, and A Very Merry Christmas

First up today is a quilt I made for Christmas last year.  It was one of those deals where I looked at the pattern and figured there was no way I could do that but had to try..........I did it and it came out really pretty I think.  This is the best I could do for a picture.

Next up we have a card.......and it's the jolly old guy himself.  I've "re-discovered" Unity stamps and splurged a little during their sale and got a few things.  I love stamping with rubber even though I know it's easier to use the clear stamps so you can see where you're stamping.  I just always think the rubber stamps prettier.  Anyway...........here's the old guy from Unity Stamps……..

And last...........Merry Christmas.  If you celebrate the day I hope you have a good one.  No big plans here at all but I'm going to kinda disappear for a couple of weeks I think.  I have some things going on the first part of January and doubt I'll be crafting too much.  I'll check back with everyone when I get back.  Thanks to each one of you for being a part of my life - yes, you really are and I appreciate it.

Thanks for stopping by........and keep smiling!

Lynn

I just love this stunning quilt and what a fabulous decoration it will make for the holidays at your house! You did a great job with it! I too like a good rubber stamp and Santa makes a fun card with that tiny tall present next to his curly-toed feet! I just love those whimsical little details! Take good care while you're away and I hope to come back to making and posting cards in the new year at some point too. In the meantime, make it Merry, stay warm, and stay well! Take good care of yourself, ya hear?

Beautiful quilt. Excellent! Just love the Santa stamp. perfect coloring. Went to a party last night and they had a professional Santa, real white beard and all, that was a personal friend of someone there. He had some amazing stories to tell of his 50+ years as Santa. Have a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year. Love your visits.

Love, Hugs and Blessings

What a beautiful quilt, Lynn! Wow! I like how rubber stamps too. But then I like being able to see what I'm stamping. Maybe they can invent some clear rubber? I hope your time away will be spent doing fun things! Have a wonderful Christmas!

Lynn, I love that fabulous quilt! I can't believe that you've been crafting and posting again for months now and I've never gotten so much as a blip showing me any of your posts. You must think I've completely forgotten you. NOT TRUE! I'll be checking regularly now to see what's new. Happy New Year, my dear friend. :-D
PS Loved your Christmas card. Thank you.

Oh my word, this quilt is stunning Lynn!!!! I love the fabrics you chose and so love the quilt pattern. You did a fabulous job on it and you showed yourself that you CAN do it! I hope whoever you gave this quilt to cherishes it because it is really special! Your card is adorable with the big guy himself. I think many think the same as you do about red rubber stamps, they do stamp extremely well over the photopolymer ones, but I don't do well with red rubber only because I can't see where I'm stamping. lol But the Misti helps with that I'm sure. I also have some Unity stamps that I won a long time ago and need to get those puppies out and use them! You are a blessing to us Lynn and I know I am very happy you are a part of my life!!! Hugs, Brenda
