Hugs and Hope

Several months ago I discovered a blog that has so many wonderful creations on it and is such an inspiration to me every day of the week - Jaydee Stamping. When I first discovered this blog, an offer for some blog candy was on it. When I say blog candy - I mean BLOG CANDY too! A BIG SHOT was the candy! I've been wanting one for SO long!!!! Jaydee was having a card drive for two charity organizations and you had to make some cards for either one or the other - or both organizations. So I thought, hey maybe I can do this! One of the two organizations was called Hugs and Hope for Children. That's the one I searched first and oh my......I think I was in tears by the time I finished reading about this organization. After reading about the children, I completely forgot about winning the Big Shot and immediately started making cards. The stories about these children will make you so sad, yet let you see how brave they truly are. No, I didn't win the Big Shot - but it didn't matter. I felt like I was putting a smile on a child's face by sending them a card.

These are a few of the cards that I will be sending out this week to Hugs and Hope for Children. Check out their site and if you have time in your busy schedule, make some cards for them. They need all the smiles they can get.

A special "thank you" to Jaydee for not only her wonderful blog, but for helping me discover

Thanks for stopping by......................
Lynn

Well you know that I'm big into making cards for donation so I think it's terrific when others do too. These are a really cute bunch and I'm sure the organization will love them.

Lynn, I so enjoyed reading your post. I'm sitting with stacks of cards which I can't sell and really, I only want to sell them so that I can buy more stash (feed the "habit"...lol). Your message has made me think of contacting some charity organisations or old age homes in my area in South Africa, where I could donate some of my cards to. I firmly believe that when you give freely and with love, you get so much more in return. There is really no price for putting a smile on someone else's face is there? Have a super week further. Well done to you. Hugs Sharon

Lynn....
as always... your cards are amazing. I had the first batch you sent to the very deserving children in my hand and the detail, care and love that went into every one of those cards was amazing. These ones are no exception. Your attention to detail on these cards really set them apart! You really think about each child and what they enjoy. Once again, these cards brought a huge smile to my face - and I know they will do the same for the recipients.

I cannot think you enough for continuing to support this great organization. You truly are a wonderful person.

Thank you, too for the kind words:-) I really appreciated them. I am so grateful you found my blog.

You have inspired me to do another blog candy drive. I'm thinking for the new catty. Would love your thoughts on that?

Big hugs my friend - THANK YOU!
jaydee
