Fall Note Card

I send a note card about once a month to a very dear friend - a lady who is 85 years old. She enjoys receiving mail and I always try to keep her informed on what is going on in my life. I make ALOT of note cards so I'll always have one on hand to send her.
Since it's starting to look a little like fall down here in Texas, (although it's about 82 degrees right now) I thought she would enjoy this card.

I stamped the leaves, cut them out, and then popped them up on dimensionals. A piece of twill ribbon was tied at the top with a leaf brad in the center. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings that I got from i {heart} papers. This stamp set has so many sayings that we use daily! The sentiment was punched out with the Modern Label Punch and then attached with olive brads.

So, until next time........thanks for stopping by.

I have a 92 year old cousin in a nursing home and I send him a card at least once a month. I do think the older folks enjoy them more than the young people I send to.

I like how you cut out the leaves and added the metal leaf chram.
