Get Well Card

Have you ever noticed that when you need a Get Well card, you never have one! Ususally by the time I've heard that someone could use a little "pick me up", and then get a card made, they are already well. So, I've decided to make up several so I'll have them on hand when I need one.

The stamp I used is Thoughts and Prayers from SU. I colored the main image with makers and then stamped it on vanilla paper, framed in Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip. The background patterned paper is from Basic Grey (Porcelain) that I received from i {heart} papers. The paper is in a paper pad and all the designs in it are gorgeous!!! I punched out a "lacy" border and added it under the image. The bow was made using my Bow-Easy - also from i {heart} papers. This is little tool makes bows a snap!

Until next time - thanks for stopping by.........

Lynn, it's beautiful. I love the colors, the layering and the fact that it is so feminine. Great job.

That is so true. That is the reason I never make get well cards because by the time I find out about it the person is already better. So that is a good idea to have a couple around. Especially with so many people having the flu this year.

This is a very pretty card and I'm sure the recipient will feel better just by seeing it.
